Our Achievements

Thanks to strong community support and partnerships, we have successfully made several of our projects self-sustaining. These include:

Arabic and Bengali schools

Elderly drop-in and exercise sessions

Women’s training initiatives

Supplementary education programmes

Arabic and Bengali Schools

We established community-run language schools that provide children and adults with the opportunity to learn Arabic and Bengali in a culturally respectful and engaging environment. These schools preserve linguistic heritage, support faith-based learning, and help children stay connected with their roots.
Impact:

  • Over 300 students enrolled annually

  • Volunteer-led teaching models

  • Cultural events and parent engagement days held regularly

Elderly Drop-In and Exercise Sessions

Recognising the isolation and inactivity many elderly individuals face, we introduced weekly drop-in and light exercise sessions. These provide a safe and friendly environment where seniors can socialise, move more, and feel valued.
Impact:

  • 50+ regular elderly participants

  • Improved physical and mental well-being

  • Weekly health talks and social tea sessions

Women’s Training Initiatives

We empower local women through skill-building programmes in digital literacy, English language, sewing, and entrepreneurship. These sessions are designed to boost confidence, foster independence, and open pathways to employment or further education.
Impact:

  • 200+ women trained

  • Graduates launching home businesses

  • Several participants progressed to further education or employment

Supplementary Education Programmes

To support school-aged children struggling academically, our supplementary education programmes offer after-school tutoring and homework help. Subjects include Maths, English, and Science, with a focus on personalised support.
Impact:

  • 100+ children supported annually

  • Measurable improvement in school performance

  • Strong collaboration with parents and local schools
