When was EBWA established, and when was its constitution officially adopted?

EBWA was established in April 1995 and officially adopted its constitution on the 21st of April 1996.

EBWA’s core mission is to provide accessible educational, welfare, and social support services—especially for the elderly, financially disadvantaged individuals, and those in need of essential community assistance.

EBWA has delivered First Aid training to 20 individuals, volunteering training for 10 Bangladeshi women, and Employability & Childcare Level 1 and 2 courses to 24 Bangladeshi women—four of whom secured permanent jobs.

EBWA runs an Elderly Drop-in and Keep Fit Club with trained instructors offering regular exercise sessions, light refreshments, and social engagement, serving over 100 elderly individuals from diverse backgrounds.

EBWA conducts Supplementary Maths and English Classes after school, which boost students’ confidence and help improve academic performance. This project has been extended for another two years.

EBWA hosts the annual Bangla Mela, summer outings, and commemorations of Bangladesh’s national days like Independence Day and International Mother Language Day. They also organize events like Ladies Night and Iftar Mahfil during Ramadan.
