Empowering Communities, Enriching Lives – The Enfield Bangladesh Welfare Association (EBWA) is a community-driven organisation dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for the Bangladeshi and wider communities within the London Borough of Enfield. Established in April 1995 and formally adopting its constitution on the 21st of April 1996, EBWA has been at the forefront of delivering vital support services to those in need.
Our mission
Our mission is rooted in providing accessible educational, welfare, and social support services—particularly for the elderly, individuals experiencing financial hardship, and those in need of essential community assistance. Over the years, we have developed a range of programmes aimed at promoting social inclusion, cultural cohesion, and personal empowerment. From educational workshops and skill-building initiatives to welfare advocacy and recreational activities, EBWA is committed to fostering a stronger, more united community.

Our core values
Our core values of compassion, respect, and integrity drive everything we do. We believe in the power of community and the impact of collective action. By working closely with local organisations, volunteers, and stakeholders, we strive to create an environment where everyone has the opportunity to thrive and succeed.
